Actress comes clean about how old she really is

Michelle Collins is finally happy to admit she is 48

Michelle Collins has revealed that she hasn't always been entirely honest about her age.

The former EastEnders star is 48 but has shaved a few years off when giving interviews.

‘I've been knocking a year or two off my age for a long time - since I was much younger,' says Michelle.

‘But I might as well come clean now because how old I am doesn't seem to matter any more...I am happy to admit that I am 48.'

Michelle admits she used to fret about remaining youthful.

‘In the past, I must have tried every cream and beauty treatment going to keep myself looking young,' she tells The Mail On Sunday.

‘But as I have got older, I have found it is better to simply adapt and rise to the challenge rather than fighting age and moaning about my lot.'
