Darren Day charged with drink-driving
Darren Day has been charged with drink-driving.
The actor was pulled over by police in Edinburgh last week after he allegedly crashed his Mercedes into a lamp post while over the legal limit.
Darren, 41, appeared at Edinburgh Sheriff Court on Friday to deny the charge and another 5 offences, including claims he was in possession of a self-defence weapon.
The Sheriff set a trial for January 2010 and ordered his car to be seized, reports the BBC.
Darren has since been released on bail.
