Leona Lewis up for Golden Globe

Singer's track I See You up against U2

Leona Lewis won The X Factor in 2006

Leona Lewis has been nominated for a Golden Globe award.

The X Factor winner is in the running to win Best Original Song for I See You.

The track features in sci-fi flick Avatar.

Leona, 24, is up against Sir Paul McCartney and U2.

Other Brits up for Golden Globes include Colin Firth, Dame Helen Mirren and Emily Blunt.

Leona's single Happy, which was used in the film Precious, has been tipped for an Oscar nomination.
