Singer had a kinky surprise on stage

Daniel Merriweather didn't keep the pink bra

Daniel Merriweather says a female fan once threw a huge bra at him.

The singer was performing at the Shepherd's Bush Empire at the time and admits he didn't know how to react.

‘This girl threw this massive pink bra on stage,' Daniel tells Now Online.

‘You're kind of always hoping for the day someone throws a bra on stage, but this thing was like it was owned by a grandma.

'I didn't really know what to do with it; it was sitting on stage for a while.

'My songs are relatively sombre and serious, so I thought it was kind of weird that during this song there was this amazing moment.' 

Daniel, 27, says his band later used the bra for a practical joke.

‘I walked off stage and came back on for the encore,' he adds.

‘One of my backing singers had hung it up on the mic stand so when I came back for the finale there's this massive pink bra hanging on there! It was pretty funny.'
