Amanda Holden: I want Simon Cowell to run the marathon

Actress says it would boost his ego

Amanda Holden is trying to convince Simon Cowell to take part in the London Marathon.

The actress, 38, thinks her fellow Britain's Got Talent judge would love the attention.

‘I believe there are aspects of it which he would probably find irresistible,' she says.

‘Like running round London for 26 miles, with people screaming his name the whole time.

‘He would absolutely love that. It would be a real boost to his ego. Not that he needs one!'

Amanda ran the marathon in an impressive 4 hours, 13 seconds in 2008.

‘I loved every second of that,' she tells Take It Easy magazine.

‘I could have run it again, I was enjoying myself so much.'
