Should 3-year-old Suri Cruise be wearing lipgloss and high heels?

Katie Holmes says daughter loves dressing up

Suri Cruise has been photographed wearing her gold high-heeled shoes again and appearing to apply lipgloss.

The 3-year-old is with mum Katie Holmes in Seville where dad Tom Cruise is working on the set of his latest film, Night And Day.

Katie, 30, has defended her decision to let daughter Suri wear shoes with heels.

‘Like every little girl, she loves my high heels,' Katie explains.

‘They are actually ballroom dancing shoes for kids. I found them for her and she loves them.'

Little girls do love to mimic their mothers but should they be encouraged to grow up so quickly and allowed to apply makeup?

Jonbenet Ramsey (pictured below) - who was murdered in 1996 at the age of 6 - was a child beauty queen.

Her death highlighted the controversial American pageants where pre-teen girls are dressed as sexually-alluring adults.
