Mischa Barton likes to lead a normal life

Mischa Barton likes to keep her feet firmly on the ground.

The actress insists it's important for her to be herself.

‘I haven't changed much about my life since I became famous,' she says.

‘I still take the subway and do my own laundry.

‘I'm not a bitch. I clean my own crap and I enjoy having a normal life.'

Mischa, 23, also tries to ignore stories about her in the papers.

‘People get crazy with what they write about me, and it's never true,' she tells OK!.

‘I've just learned to have a good laugh about it.'
