Travis Barker settles plane crash lawsuit
Travis Barker has settled a legal case over the jet crash that left him severely injured last year.
The Blink 182 star launched a lawsuit against Learjet, Goodyear Tire & Rubber Co. and the plane's owners and contractors in November 2008.
His legal team apparently brokered a deal during a mediation session on 18 November.The details of the settlement will remain confidential, but Travis, 34, was seeking $25,000 in damages.
Travis and his pal DJ AM were the only survivors in the crash - which killed four other passengers - in September 2008.
The National Transportation Safety Board found that thrust
reversers - devices on the back of jet engines to slow down planes or
force them backwards - were not in the right position.
DJ AM, real name Adam Goldstein, died of an accidental drug overdose on 28 August.
His estate is suing the same defendants for wrongful death. The case is pending.
