Ricky Whittle appeals to the older generation following his spell on Strictly

Ricky Whittle says his fanbase has broadened following his appearance on Strictly Come Dancing.

The Hollyoaks actor, who plays Calvin Valentine, is now admired by more mature women.

‘I normally attract teenage girls, but since Strictly I seem to be appealing to the older generation,' he reveals.

And Ricky, 28, is enjoying the extra attention.

‘This morning on the train a little old lady tapped me on the bum and said, "Ooh, I think you're gorgeous!"' he tells Fabulous.

'That's exactly what I've always wanted!'
