Actress announces engagement on Facebook

Ben Freeman and Jennifer Biddall starred opposite each other in Dreamboats And Petticoats

Soap star Ben Freeman is to tie the knot with his girlfriend Jennifer Biddall.

The ex-Emmerdale hunk and former Hollyoaks actress have been together for eight months.

They met while starring in touring musical Dreamboats And Petticoats.

'I'm getting married!' Jennifer, 29, announced on Facebook.

Ben, 29 - who played Scott Windsor in the ITV soap - was cleared of raping a 16-year-old girl while on holiday in Barbados in 2006.

His spokesman confirmed the engagement.
