Rhydian Roberts keeps in touch with X Factor mentor Dannii Minogue

Rhydian Roberts is the proud owner of a baby gorilla named Amy.

The singer received the pet as a gift from a fan.

‘Well, to be more accurate they sponsored a gorilla, because they know I like little baby gorillas,' he tells Now Online.

Rhydian, 26, is touched by the generosity of his supporters.

‘They know me better than I know myself, and they get me the presents I like the most,' he adds.

Rhydian's new album O Fortuna is out now.
