Noel Gallagher is a Coronation Street fan

Noel Gallagher admits he'd love to star in Coronation Street.

The former Oasis singer, 42, would even be happy with a small role. 

‘It's such an institution,' he tells Radio One.

‘Why they've never asked me to be in it is really one of the scandals of our age.

‘I could just have a walk-on part. A little, tiny part. Preferably punching David Platt's face in.'
