Couple leave the children at home to spend time together

Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie spent some quality time together on Monday night

Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie enjoyed a rare night out together this week.

The couple, whose relationship is rumoured to be tense, had dinner at La Dolce Vita in Beverly Hills on Monday evening.

Angelina, 33 - who was wearing a yellow silk top and black satin trousers - held hands with Brad as they arrived at the eatery.

They left their kids Maddox, 8, Pax, 6, Zahara, 4, Shiloh, 3, and 1-year-old twins Knox and Vivienne at home.

Brad, 45, started a family with Ange after ending his marriage to ex-wife Jennifer Aniston, 40, in 2005.
