Actress says daughter loves dressing up

Katie Holmes starred in Dawson's Creek

Katie Holmes has defended her decision to let daughter Suri wear high heels.

The actress and husband Tom Cruise, 47, have been criticised by some tabloids for giving the 3-year-old stilettos.

‘Like every little girl, she loves my high heels,' Katie tells Access Hollywood.

‘They are actually ballroom dancing shoes for kids. I found them for her and she loves them.'

Katie, 30, says Suri enjoys dressing up and putting on a show for her parents.

‘[She] loves dancing and singing and she's just a joy,' the proud mum explains to Extra. ‘She loves it all.'
