Jordan and Peter Andre: Ready to start again

Katie Price is making every effort to win Peter back, but will he agree to a reconciliation?

Jordan and Peter Andre met on 2004's I'm A Celebrity...Get Me Out Of Here!

Jordan just about managed to keep her emotions in check during her exit interview from I'm A Celebrity - Get Me Out Of Here!.

She talked about her painful split from Peter Andre and how she desperately wants him back.

Relations between the pair have thawed to such a level that the previously unthinkable could become a reality - a reunion is on the cards.

Our source says: ‘Last Sunday, they had their first proper conversation since 
the split in May. Katie wanted to speak to the kids and she and Peter had a brief chat where they were perfectly 
civil to each other.

‘Thanks to the jungle, Pete's seen a different side to her for the first time in six months and he admitted there was finally hope that they could try again at being friends. He even asked how she was. Pete's been concerned about the level of abuse she's getting.

‘His heart went out to her because she's been through hell. The jungle has made her self-reflective and Katie realised that all the hate she was throwing at Pete was wrong because she's still madly in love with him.'

Jordan, 31, is now making all the right moves in Peter's eyes. She's dumped cagefighter Alex Reid, 34, and is now single for the first time in years. Our source adds: ‘Being single is a major deal for her. She's making herself vulnerable for Pete's sake now.'

Jordan rushed back to the UK last Saturday for a heart-wrenching reunion with kids Harvey, eight, Junior, three, and Princess, two, and a golden chance to win Peter over.

‘She wants them to be a couple again,' says our source. ‘She's hoping they can do things together as Mummy and Daddy.

‘They'll be going to Junior's nativity play on 9 December, which she's already planning as a "first date" reunion. Then they can start thinking about Christmas - and who knows what'll happen?'

  I hope they don't get back together, he is a much better person without her. She would just use him to gain more publicity, that is all she thinks about, he deserves someone better then her.

  I do hope Katie and peter get back together for the sake of their children. Still Katie needs to learn to respect Peter.

  To Pete. Don't get sucked into Katie's further insincerity. She'll let you down again no matter what she says. Just keep it platonic. Selfish women like her can't help their true nature (I am married to one like her - dreadful!). Katie is only thinking about herself and her own life achievements, not yours.
