David Beckham is not thought to smoke in his LA home

David Beckham secretly likes to puff on a cigar.

The LA Galaxy star is said to have grown fond of Cuban rolls when he moved to California.

‘He loves the taste,' says a source. ‘The smoking is just his way of relaxing as he nears the end of his career.

‘There is no doubt he is very fit for his age and takes exceptional care of himself.'

But a rep for David - whose wife Victoria, 35, used to enjoy the odd drag - has played down claims he's a serial smoker.

‘He may have had a puff on a cigar once or twice in the past to make a celebration but that is it,' the spokesperson tells The Sun.

Last week, David, 34, was seen using an asthma inhaler for the first time in public.
