Actors raise cash for a good cause

Hugh Jackman and Daniel Craig also met some of the audience backstage to pose for snaps

Hugh Jackman and Daniel Craig's stage outfits have been sold in a charity auction.

Their sweaty vests from Broadway show A Steady Rain were bought by two women for £2,100 each.

The actors offered to sell the shirts off their backs to the highest bidders after a performance.

The cash will go to Broadway Cares/Equity Fights Aids, which helps people with critical illnesses in the US.

Hugh and Daniel play two Chicago policemen in A Steady Rain at the Gerald Schoenfeld Theatre.
