Alesha Dixon: I want to create a secure family

Strictly star's parents split when she was four

Alesha Dixon rose to fame as a member of girl group Mis-Teeq

Alesha Dixon says her greatest accomplishment would be to raise a stable family.

The Strictly Come Dancing judge thinks it would be even more rewarding than her career.

'I love what I do and I'm very fortunate,' she says.

'But in years to come I would love to look back and say that I created a secure family.

'That would be my biggest achievement.'

Alesha's parents split when she was four - her mum Beverly has three children by different fathers.

And her dad Melvin went on to have three kids with a new partner.

'If you come from quite a dysfunctional family, you can think, "Well, I'm going to try and break the cycle here and do things differently,"' she adds.
