Joseph Fiennes: I feel like I'm in witness protection

Actor has experienced a lot of change in 2009

Joseph Fiennes moved to LA last year

Joseph Fiennes admits his life has completely changed since moving to LA.

The actor relocated to the States last year to star in TV show FlashForward and in August 2009 tied the knot with Swiss model Maria Dolores Dieguez. 

Joseph plays FBI agent Mark Benfold in the series.

'He's a man who is intent on not having to live in the hell that he sees. He's a recovering alcoholic, which is a painful backstory for him,' explains Joseph.

'His life is now back on track. He's got a wonderful family. He lives for his child and his wife, and to see that taken away devastates him.'

The actor says he is still adjusting to his own new life in California. 

'I feel like I'm in witness protection,' he tells Now. 'I've got a new wife, a new bank account, a new car and a new home. It's been exhilarating, but also exhausting.'
