Michael Jackson's kids' secret saviour

The ‘long lost brother' holding them together behind the scenes

Michael Jackson is in the Guinness Word Records for being the 'Most Successful Entertainer Of All Time'

While the rest of the Jacksons are at each other's throats, there's one person Michael Jackson's children can rely on.

Omer Bhatti has been a constant companion to Paris, 12, Prince Michael, 11, and Blanket, 9, since their dad died in June.

Michael's father Joe claimed in July that the 25-year-old Norwegian rapper was the superstar's secret son from a 1984 romance, although Omer has so far denied this.

However, he's become a welcome part of the family - even getting a front row seat at Michael's funeral - and has nursed the children through the most difficult period in their lives.

‘It's been horrible for the children, especially Blanket,' says our source. ‘Omer's become a surrogate dad to him.

'He's been staying with the kids at the family ranch in Encino and has taken the place of Michael's sister Janet as their main carer. Without him, the children would be lost.'

Last week, Omer and the kids were pictured enjoying a skydiving simulator and days earlier he was seen holding Blanket's hand as they went to see the film A Christmas Carol.

‘They were enjoying themselves like a normal family,' says our source, ‘which is hardly ever said of the Jacksons.'

The children need stability like never before as the internal warring within the family boils over yet again - with Joe, 80, being the main culprit.

He's the only Jackson contesting the legitimacy of Michael's will and is demanding a bigger slice of his fortune. He's due in court next month to claim that he deserves an allowance 
for his expenses, which he reckons are $20,000 a month.

Joe and Janet, 43, spoke out last week to demand that Michael's personal physician Dr Conrad Murray, who it's alleged gave him a fatal dose of the anaesthesia Propofol, should be charged with murder and never be allowed to practise again.

Meanwhile mum Katherine, 79, is sick of the family feuds and said via her laywer: ‘It's high time the fighting ends.'
