Jennifer Lopez: Sweaty dancers caused stage tumble

Singer explains mishap

Jennifer Lopez's new album Love? is out early next year

Jennifer Lopez has joked about her accident at the American Music Awards on Sunday night.

The singer fell on her bum while attempting to jump off a dancer's back during her performance of new track Louboutins.

‘The guys' backs were a little bit sweaty,' she explains.

Jennifer, 40, has played down the stumble.

‘Did I trip a little bit? I don't even remember,' she told Ryan Seacrest on his KIIS-FM show. ‘Yeah, I meant to do that. That was part of the choreography.'

But Jennifer is proud she managed to recover and complete the routine.

‘It's cool,' she insisted on The Billy Bush Show. ‘We jumped right back up and didn't miss a step.

‘It was a great performance and I feel really good about it. It was fun. We had a good time. It was great to share the new single in that way.'
