David Beckham believes that staying in LA will enable his children to stay out of the limelight.

The England star, 34, and ex-Spice Girl wifeVictoria Beckham are keen for Brooklyn, 10, Romeo, 7, and Cruz, 4, to grow up without being always in the public eye.

‘LA is amazing for what Victoria and I want, for our children to have the most normal upbringing,' he tells the Sunday Mirror.

‘The other kids know who they are, but it's not like in other schools, where kids are taking pictures and asking for autographs. They've got American accents, which is weird.'

David moved his family from Madrid to Beverly Hills in 2007 to play for LA Galaxy.
