Single Jamelia moves on!

She's back on the party scene after her love split

Jamelia has kicked Walsall footballer Darren Byfield into touch

Gorgeous, sexy and hitting the celebrity circuit once again, Jamelia's back with 
a bang after ditching footballer husband Darren Byfield.

The singer returned to the red carpet last week for a Staying Alive Foundation charity 
do after making the split official and moving out of the marital home.

A close friend of the singer tells Now: ‘The past year's been really difficult, but she's finally broken free.

'She's focusing on having fun, but her daughters will always remain her priority.'

After her confident and sassy appearance on Never Mind The Buzzcocks recently, it's clear that Jamelia, 28, is back to her best, having made the heartbreaking decision to call time on her marriage to Darren, 33.

The couple wed in June 2008 and have a daughter Tiani, 4.

Jamelia also has a daughter Teja, 8, from a previous relationship.
