Victoria Beckham offered Madagascar role

But Posh is too busy to star in film

Victoria Beckham has three sons with husband David

Victoria Beckham has turned down the chance to star in the latest Madagascar movie.

The former Spice Girl, 35, was asked to lend her voice to a new character.

'She was approached to do it,' her rep tells Now Online. 'But she declined the offer because she's too busy.'

Victoria made a cameo in Ugly Betty and appeared in Spongebob Squarepants.

Madagascar 3 - starring Ben Stiller and David Schwimmer - is due for release in 2012.
