X Factor presenter Dermot O'Leary has found himself on the front line of what feels more like a battleground than a reality TV show this year.
With the press and public alike still going Jedward crazy - and Simon Cowell incredulous that they're still in the contest - 36-year-old Dermot understands the boys' appeal.
'The weirdest thing about them is that I get why they're still in the competition,' he admits. It's not just about having a good voice... but I'm just not entirely sure who's voting for them!
'I don't think anyone knows. It's odd.
'Simon would mortified if they won! The only worry is, you think people might actually vote for them just to put that look on Simon's face.'So does Dermot, 36, believe John and Edward have an outside chance of winning?
'Well, I think the operative word there is "outside"!' he says. 'Or an "out there" chance. Jedward are genuinely oblivious, that's what I love about them. They're the funniest pair of boys I think I've ever met.'
