Fergie's marriage in crisis

She's standing by her man despite cheating claims

Fergie and Josh Duhamel have been married for less than a year

Fergie's sparkling X Factor performance gave nothing away, but behind closed doors she is fighting to save her marriage.

The Black Eyed Peas singer has vowed to stand by husband of 11 months Josh Duhamel, who's denied claims that he had a one-night stand with a stripper.

Exotic dancer Nicole Forrester, 34, alleges that the actor seduced her following a series of lap dances at the Tattletales strip club where she performs. Nicole even reportedly passed a lie detector test undertaken by an expert.

But a representative for Josh issued a strong denial, saying: ‘This isn't the first nor will it be the last time that a stripper was paid a large amount of money to sell a false story about a celebrity. This story is absolutely ridiculous.'

Fergie - who friends say broke down in tears when she learnt of the story - has since dismissed the cheating reports as ‘nonsense'.

But a source close to the star says she's been rocked by the claims.

The friend tells Now: ‘To say this has thrown her marriage into crisis is an understatement. But Fergie's a tough girl and she's determined to pull through.

She's sticking with Josh and has decided to back him to the hilt.

‘She's told those closest to her: "There's no way I'm going to let this man go. I love him and he's too important to me."'
