Singer says his marriage was about love

Peter Andre split from Jordan in May

Peter Andre has revealed that he wanted to get a pre-nup before he married Jordan.

But the glamour model, real name Katie Price, was dead set against it.

‘When we decided to marry, I sat in a lawyer's office with Kate having a screaming row because I was insisting on a pre-nuptial agreement,' says Peter, 36.

‘I didn't want a penny of her money and still don't. She was screaming because she thought it meant that I wasn't committing to her.

'I was upset that she didn't get that what I was trying to say was that this was about love not money.'

Peter insists he didn't wed Jordan, 31, for fame or cash.

‘None of it is true,' he tells Live magazine. 'I never took a penny of her money.

'I had property in Australia and Cyprus when we met, which was earning me a decent living.'
