Ali Bastian: My parents are really fond of Brian Fortuna

Strictly star introduces dancer to family

Ali Bastian and Brian Fortuna attended this year's Inside Soap Awards together

Ali Bastian's Strictly Come Dancing partner Brian Fortuna has met her mum and dad.

The ex-Hollyoaks star says her parents have taken a shine to him.

‘My family are really fond of Brian,' she says. ‘They've been coming to the show every week and meet him afterwards.

‘They see how well we get on and what a lovely relationship we have.'

Although Ali is yet to meet Brian's family, he insists his parents already have a soft spot for her.

‘My parents watch the show on BBC iPlayer,' he tells the Sunday Mirror. 'From what they've seen of her, they really like her.

‘They are really happy I have someone so nice around me.'
