Jo-Emma Larvin: Strictly's Kristina got my Joe but I've quit crying

After being dumped by boxer, Jo-Emma now feels fit and strong

Jo-Emma Larvin dated boxer Joe Calzaghe for over 5 years

The moment Joe Calzaghe told his girlfriend of 5 years he was thinking of going on Strictly Come Dancing, alarm bells rang in her head.

Jo-Emma Larvin, 30, knew the BBC show had a reputation for splitting up relationships.
 
‘I said to him: "Don't they all end up having affairs?" she admits.

'Then, the first week he started, we broke up. Make of that what you will.'

What Jo-Emma didn't know then is that Joe, 37, had just met his new partner, blonde bombshell Kristina Rihanoff.

Dubbed the Siberian Siren, she'd already had affairs with four dance partners, including her fellow Strictly professional Vincent Simone while his girlfriend 
was pregnant.

Now Kristina and Joe are officially an item.

'It all just happened so fast, I was really confused. I was a mess,' Jo-Emma confides.

‘Joe's changed. The Joe of the last year or two is certainly not the Joe I fell in love with.'

But the model/actress decided to pick herself up, dust herself off and head for the New You Boot Camp in Portugal. There she cycled, boxed - and quit crying.

'I'm the happiest I've been for a long time,' she says. 'I'm finally over him and I'd never go back.'
