Peter Andre and Jordan: Inside their two-hour reunion

What really happened at Harvey's bedside?

Peter Andre went straight to the hospital to see Harvey as soon as Jordan called

We knew it had to happen eventually. Last Wednesday, Jordan, 31, and Peter Andre, 36, came face to face at last - and in the most dramatic circumstances as they sat over the hospital bed where poor Harvey was taken ill.

Seven-year-old Harvey had flu symptoms, including a high temperature, and they feared it could be swine flu. Because he suffers from a condition called septo-optic dysplasia and can't take Tamiflu, the family were 'frantic with worry'.

'Once Jordan had made the call, Peter went straight to the hospital,' a source exclusively tells Now. 'He arrived about 20 minutes after her at 6.30pm.

'Jordan was dreading seeing Pete, but they both realised this was bigger than all the petty rows and backbiting that's been going on.'

Their fears were soon calmed as doctors at East Surrey Hospital in Redhill told them Harvey was unlikely to be suffering from swine flu. 

'After saying all those things about Pete to provoke him, he was there when it really mattered.'
