Cheryl Cole lends Fergie shoes for X Factor performance

Fergie made a dramatic entrance on The X Factor

Fergie borrowed a pair of Cheryl Cole's shoes for her X Factor appearance last night.

The Black Eyed Peas singer realised her own stilettos didn't match her gown moments before the show.

Fortunately, Cheryl, 26, stepped in to offer her some replacement footwear.

‘I had a last-minute crisis,' Fergie, 34, told viewers on The Xtra Factor.

‘Thank you Cheryl Cole for letting me borrow your shoes!

‘This happens a lot of the time with our shows. My shoes did not match the dress.

'Cheryl's a size smaller than I am so I had to stretch into them.

'That's showbusiness, that happens sometimes.'
