Comedian ready for new look
Sunday, 8 November 2009
Russell Brand is considering cutting off his trademark locks.
The comedian, 34, thinks going for the chop will improve his chances in Hollywood.
‘I was hoping one day to play Napoleon,' he says.
‘But I can't play Napoleon as this shaggy-haired bearded raconteur.'
Russell, who is famous for his unkempt mane, doesn't want to be typecast.
‘I can't keep playing long-haired, scruffy men,' he tells the Metro. ‘Otherwise my career would be limited.'
