Katy Perry: I'll be naughty under Russell's influence

Comedian has encouraged her to wear less

Katy Perry and Russell Brand have been inseparable since they went public with the romance

Katy Perry says her new boyfriend Russell Brand has encouraged her be risqué when she presents the MTV Europe Music Awards.

The I Kissed A Girl star plans to titillate fans with her daring wardrobe.

‘I've gone for less costume changes but less clothing too,' Katy, 25, said at the press conference.

‘I'm going to highlight what God gave me - what my momma made.

‘I will be especially naughty under Russell's influence. I've worn things in the past couple of months that aren't appropriate for this press conference because of him.'

Katy hosted the event last year and made a whopping 11 outfit changes during the show.

‘Last year it was fruity and kitsch and fun,' she added. ‘But this year the fruit has gone sour. Now it's dark and sexy and a bit naughtier.

‘We are using lots of crystals, bowler hats, bow ties and booby things.'

Russell, 34, reckons Katy will make him proud.

‘She doesn't need tips on presenting the MTV Awards, she's fabulous,' he tells the Daily Mirror.

The MTV Europe Music Awards take place in Berlin tonight.
