Danny Dyer is devastated that burglars targetted his Essex house.

The Human Traffic star's Porsche and Mercedes were stolen from his property on Monday night.

Danny, 32, girlfriend Joanna Mas and their two children were asleep at the time.

‘It's the lowest point of my life,' he says. ‘I've never felt like this before.

‘My 13-year-old is really upset and scared. She feels unsafe in her own home.

'I feel like I've let them down as a father.'

The police later found one of the cars abandoned nearby.

‘Luckily I'm lazy and I didn't fill it up, so they probably panicked and just dumped it.'

Danny has now cancelled promotional appearances for his new DVD.

‘His mind was elsewhere for some of the interviews,' his spokesman tells the BBC.

‘Not in an unprofessional way - but you could tell that he was troubled.'
