I'm A Celebrity winner plans to resolve tax issue

Joe Swash is in Australia to film ITV2's I'm A Celeb spin-off show

Joe Swash was declared bankrupt yesterday at London's High Court.

The Official Receiver has taken control of the I'm A Celebrity winner's assets due to a 'tax issue'.

Joe, 27, who is currently in Australia, insists there has been a mix-up.

‘He has not been around to sort this out,' agent Becca Barr tells The Sun. ‘The bankruptcy should never have gone through.

‘He's not in financial difficulty - he's fine. There was a tax issue which will be resolved imminently. Everyone has to pay tax and Joe knows he is no exception.'

He has been dating former EastEnders co-star Kara Tointon, 26, since last summer.
