WAG celebrates arrival of son Kai

Coleen Rooney has become a mum for the first time

Coleen and Wayne Rooney have become the proud parents of a baby boy.

The couple have named their new arrival Kai Wayne.

Coleen, 23, gave birth at Liverpool Women's Hospital at 2.20pm.

‘Mother and baby are both absolutely fine,' a spokesperson for the couple tells the BBC.

‘Wayne and Coleen are thrilled with the wonderful addition to their family life.'

Coleen was admitted late last night and was said to have been induced as she was nine days overdue.

Wayne, 24, is reported to have been by his wife's side for the duration of the birth.
