Footie hunk is getting ready for Halloween

David Beckham was the face of Gillette

David Beckham says his beard has been inspired by Wolverine.

The footie hunk joked that he plans to go trick-or-treating as the comic book character with sons Brooklyn, 10, Romeo, 7, and Cruz, 4.

‘Halloween's coming up and I was thinking of Wolverine from X-Men,' he said.

David, 34, says he's grown attached to the facial fuzz.

‘I'm just lazy and can't be bothered to shave,' he told the Daily Star.

‘And everybody keeps telling me to cut it and I'm stubborn.'
