Actress wants on-screen family in wedding party

Gemma Merna has yet to set a wedding date

Gemma Merna plans to have her Hollyoaks co-stars as bridesmaids when she gets married.

The actress, who plays Carmel McQueen in the Channel 4 soap, has been engaged to property developer Ian Minton since 2007.

Although they're yet to set a date, Gemma wants her on-screen family to be part of the nuptials.

‘The whole cast are really, really close but obviously [I'm closest to] Jennifer Metcalfe, Nicole Barber-Lane and Claire Cooper,' she tells Now Online.

‘They're all going to be bridesmaids at my wedding.'
