Katy Perry wears Oompa Loompa nails

Singer has wacky talon designs for birthday bash

Katy Perry is dating comedian Russell Brand

Katy Perry has been snapped sporting some very unusual looking designs on her fingers.

The I Kissed A Girl singer wore Oompa Loompas on her nails for her Willy Wonka-themed 25th birthday party last weekend.

‘Getting ready for my Willy Wonka extravaganza!!!' she posted on Twitter. ‘Thanks @minxnailsdotcom for my custom Oompa nails!'

Katy threw a bash at The Beach On Sunset restaurant in West Hollywood.

The venue was turned into a replica of Willy Wonka's Chocolate Factory and guests included Taylor Swift, P Diddy and Katy's new man Russell Brand.

‘THAT was MAGIC! I'm SO happy!!!!' Katy posted after the event. ‘I am just giggling at random... I think this is how it will be for a while...'

Katy's nails were done by Minx Nails, who kicked off the trend in New York.
