Fearne Cotton: I got tattoo in Holly Willoughby's honour

Radio 1 DJ has been inked with stars behind her ear

Fearne Cotton has got a tattoo in tribute to pal Holly Willoughby.

The Radio 1 DJ had the design done as a special wedding present for the This Morning host, 28, when she tied the knot to Dan Baldwin in August 2007. 

'I've got one done for her,' Fearne, 27, tells Now. 

'She's always said that if she ever got one, it'd have to be three stars behind her ear, so when she got married, I got these done in honour of her.'

But Fearne, who has 16 tattoos in total, admits that not everyone is a fan of her body art.

'I was in the pool at the gym and this little girl pointed at my tattoos and shouted: "Mum, why's that woman got face paint on?"' she explains. 

'Then, as I was leaving, the manager told me a woman complained about me last week, saying: "There's a semi-naked woman exposing herself and her tattoos to everyone!"

'I mean, there are old ladies with their bits out and I'm in my bra and pants, drying my hair. Do tattoos make me a raving drug addict? It's bizarre!'
