Corrie star still in touch with ex's sisters

Kym Marsh is still feeling devastated over the break-up with Jamie Lomas

Kym Marsh may no longer be with Jamie Lomas, but she's still close friends with his two pregnant sisters and even plans to play an important role in the children's lives.

While she throws herself into work with a new Corrie storyline, Kym, 33, has been privately dealing with the fallout from her love split. 


She's avoided the high-profile nights out of the previous few months, but behind the scenes is growing closer to Jamie's half-sister, Emmerdale star Charley Webb, 21, and his sister Cassie Lomas, despite not being in contact with him.

‘Charley actually introduced Kym and Jamie, and his sister Cassie still often does Kym's make-up,' a friend tells Now.

‘You might think they'd find it impossible to stay friends since the break-up.

‘But, in fact, it's helping her to be around them and she's determined to stay close to her girlfriends, despite the enormous upheaval in her personal life.'

Kym's prominent storyline in the soap, where her character Michelle Connor ends up snogging schoolboy Ben Richardson, and a fashion shoot this week have kept the actress occupied.

But friends say although she's putting on a brave front and her career is going from strength to strength, she's still feeling ‘devastated' over the break-up with ex-Hollyoaks actor Jamie, 29.
