Kanye West victim of internet death rumours

Rapper's girlfriend is furious about hoax

Kanye West is alive and well

Bogus reports that Kanye West had passed away circulated online yesterday.

An internet site, which has since closed, claimed the rapper died in a car crash in LA on Tuesday.

Kanye's girlfriend Amber Rose is fuming about the hoax.

‘This "RIP Kanye West" topic is not funny,' she wrote on Twitter. 'He has people like myself and his family that love him very much.'

It's thought the rumours started after Kanye, 32, posted a bizarre 11-minute film on his website on Sunday called We Were Once In A Fairytale.

In the Spike Jonze directed video, he is seen stabbing himself to expel a demon living inside him.
