Nicole Richie craved meat during her second pregnancy

Nicole Richie has showed off her second child in a new photoshoot.

The socialite gave birth to son Sparrow James Midnight on 9 September.

‘I couldn't be happier,' she says. ‘The only thing you want is for your kids to be healthy and happy, and they are. I'm right where I belong.'

Nicole and her partner Joel Madden are already parents to 21-month-old daughter Harlow.

‘I'm glad I had a girl before I had a boy,' she tells People. ‘She just loves him so much.'

Meanwhile, Joel, 30, has rubbished rumours he secretly tied the knot with Nicole, 28, last week.

‘I keep getting emails from old friends and family asking about a wedding,' he writes on Good Charlotte's website. 'NO we didn't get married.'
