Rihanna also wears an eye patch on the cover of her new single Russian Roulette

Rihanna has posed in barbed wire for the cover for her latest release.

The singer's comeback single Russian Roulette is out next month.

The artwork features Rihanna, 21, topless, with strategically-placed barbed wire hiding her modesty.

The new track - written by Ne-Yo - got its first play on US radio yesterday.

Russian Roulette features on her album Rated R, which is out on 23 November.
