Ewan McGregor is in awe of Daniel Day-Lewis

Ewan McGregor almost quit acting because of Daniel Day-Lewis.

The Scottish actor started to doubt his ability after watching 1993 film In The Name Of The Father.

‘Daniel has made me want to give up acting a lot,' Ewan, 38, tells the Los Angeles Times.

'When I watch him, I think, "What's the point? There's no point in carrying on. That's it."'

Ewan will next be seen in Ameila, which is out on 13 November.
