Marge Simpson has been on TV for two decades

Marge Simpson has posed for adult magazine Playboy to mark the 20th anniversary of The Simpsons.

The cartoon character, voiced by actress Julie Kavner, 59, appears on the cover of the November issue. 

A three-page spread will also be devoted to the mum-of-three.

'I talked to Marge today,' executive producer Al Jean tells the Daily Mail. 'She's a little embarrassed.

'She wanted people to know the picture is Photoshopped. It's really the body of Wilma Flintstone.'
