Peter Andre: I lost my temper with Alex Reid

But singer didn't use words "fag" or "tranny"

Peter Andre says he lost his cool with Alex Reid because he couldn't speak to his kids

Peter Andre has spoken out about his argument with Jordan's new man Alex Reid.

The glamour model, real name Katie Price, accused the singer of being abusive to the cage fighter on the phone last week.

‘Basically I couldn't get in touch with my kids for five days, and as you can imagine, it was starting to make me very angry,' says Pete.

‘When I finally did get through to Kate, she put Alex on the phone who refused to let me speak to my children.

‘He told me that he was the man of the house these days and that I couldn't talk to Junior or Princess, and I don't mind admitting that I lost my temper.'

But Pete, 36, says reports about the row were inaccurate.

‘I've been accused of saying a lot of things to him that I can assure you I didn't say,' Pete writes in new!.

‘I do not use words like "fag" or "tranny". I know how offensive they are and I didn't say them.

‘I did get very angry, but I love my children so much and I felt helpless not being able to speak to them.'

Peter and Jordan's divorce is due to be finalised on 21 October.
