The exes are rekindling their romance

Now they're both starring on Broadway, it seemed inevitable that Jude Law and Sienna Miller would cross paths. But who'd have thought her dog Bess, a present from Jude, would be playing Cupid?
‘Sienna and Jude have met up a few times and got on really well,' says our source. ‘So Sienna invited him to Bess's birthday party, which was poignant considering that Jude bought Bess, and her other dog Porgy, as a gift.
‘But they're desperate to keep their hook-ups secret because their break-up was so public. They don't want any potential reconciliation all over the papers, especially with Jude having just fathered a child with another woman.'
Sienna's currently starring in the play After Miss Julie with Jude's best friend Jonny Lee Miller, who's provided the perfect smokescreen for the pair to meet undercover.
‘Jonny's great at throwing the paparazzi off the scent. He'll walk down the street with Sienna to where Jude's staying just round the corner,' says our source.
‘To make it even more convenient, Jude's starring in Hamlet, one block away from Sienna's play.
Now friends are wondering if they'll get back together properly. They split up in November 2006 because Jude,
36, publicly humiliated Sienna - his then fiancée - by cheating on her with his kids' nanny.
Sienna, 27, still wears the diamond engagement ring he gave her and admits: ‘He's still a very close person in my life.'
‘They're hoping to meet as much as possible before Sienna finishes her Broadway stint. The great thing about New York is that you get left alone,' says our insider.
‘They went to an Italian restaurant in Greenwich Village and nobody batted an eyelid.'
‘Sienna had her heart broken by Jude, but she was young and it was the first time she'd fallen in love. What people don't realise is that they always remained close, so who knows where this will lead to next.'
Jude's spokeswoman confirmed they had met up.

The party was organised by Johnny Lee Miller (who is a mutual friend) and was thrown because the dog had recovered from a serious illness that necessitated surgery. Jude was invited because he gave the dog to Sienna but he apparently did not stay long and they did not speak much either. Much spin has been put on this but I seriously doubt that Jude will ever "hook up" with this woman again.
