George Clooney: I'm going to adopt some of Brad Pitt's kids

Actor talks fatherhood at press conference

George Clooney and Brad Pitt starred together in the Coen Brothers comedy Burn After Reading

George Clooney has joked that he plans to open up his home to Brad Pitt's children.

The Fight Club hunk, 45, has six kids with partner Angelina Jolie, 33.

George, 48, made the quip when asked about fatherhood at a press conference for Fantastic Mr Fox.

‘I'm going to adopt some of Brad Pitt's kids,' he said. ‘I owe him a few.'

George also played down suggestions he's had surgery to maintain his looks.

‘It's mostly down to lots of drinking and lots of drugs,' he said.

He was later joined on the red carpet for the premiere by girlfriend Elisabetta Canalis.
