Kylie Minogue gets Chiggy Wiggy

Kylie Minogue has gone back to her acting roots and filmed a cameo role in a new Bollywood movie.

Kylie, 41, performs the song Chiggy Wiggy in the film Blue alongside the industry's biggest star - Akshay Kumar.

Blue, which is an underwater thriller, marks Kylie's first big screen appearance since playing the Green Fairy in Moulin Rouge.

The Australian pop star has confessed she was overwhelmed by the response she received in India for her part in the film, which is released in the UK on Friday 16 October.

'My overriding memory of India is the warmth and professionalism of the people I dealt with whilst making Blue,' she says.

'I arrived here as a stranger but I left considering myself as family. I do think this could be the start of something.'
